The new family orientation is a critical follow-up to the School-Night Recruitment Event. Held within 2—4 weeks of recruitment, it ensures new families understand how Cub Scouting works, what the pack’s expectations are, and how to get started. This meeting sets the tone for new families’ experience and helps with retention.
