Community Activities Fair
Description
Section titled “Description”The pack sets up a booth at community activities fairs (e.g., your town Activities Fair) to recruit prospective Scouts. Scouts in uniform attend to represent the pack, and contact information is collected from interested families for follow-up.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Community activities fairs are a high-visibility opportunity to introduce Cub Scouting to families who are new to the area or looking for youth activities. Having Scouts present in uniform is the most effective recruiting tool — families can ask questions directly and see the program in action. This event typically occurs in late August, just before the school year starts, making it ideal for reaching families before school-night recruitment.
