RPI Exploring Engineering Day

Group visit to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) for Exploring Engineering Day, a STEM-focused event designed to introduce young people to engineering and technology careers through hands-on activities.

RPI’s Exploring Engineering Day is a special event at one of the nation’s premier engineering universities, giving Scouts a firsthand look at college engineering programs and STEM careers. Scouts participate in demonstrations, experiments, and lab tours led by RPI students and faculty. This event pairs directly with Cub Scout Nova Award requirements and STEM adventure requirements. Confirm event dates with RPI annually — the event is typically held in April.
