Section titled “Role Summary”The Spring Camping Coordinator plans the pack’s spring camping trip, providing Scouts with an outdoor camping experience as the weather warms up. This may be a tent campout or cabin trip depending on the year.

Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Registration: Registered adult leader of BSA; current with YPT
- Recommended: BALOO training (required for leading a pack overnight)
- Inherits training requirements from the Program Chair role
Core Responsibilities
Section titled “Core Responsibilities”- Reserve a campsite or cabin for the spring camping trip (typically April–May)
- Plan the event program: activities, hikes, campfire, meals
- Communicate event details to pack families (dates, cost, what to bring)
- Coordinate with the Assistant Cubmaster for Food on meal planning
- Coordinate with the Equipment Coordinator on tents and gear
- Ensure at least one BALOO-trained adult is present
- Handle event registration and fees (coordinate with Treasurer)
- Ensure all BSA safety requirements are met
