Equipment Coordinator

The Equipment Coordinator manages the pack’s inventory of shared equipment — tents, canopies, cooking gear, the race track, banners, and other pack-owned items. This role ensures equipment is available, in good condition, and properly stored between uses.

  • Registration: Registered adult leader of BSA; current with YPT
  • Inherits training requirements from the Program Chair role
  • Maintain an inventory of all pack-owned equipment
  • Ensure equipment is stored properly between events (dry, organized, accessible)
  • Inspect equipment before and after each use; flag damaged items for repair or replacement
  • Coordinate equipment lending to event coordinators for campouts and activities
  • Track the location of equipment loaned out to leaders
  • Recommend equipment purchases to the Program Chair and Committee Chair
  • Coordinate with the Treasurer on equipment purchases and budget
  • Arrange for equipment maintenance and repair as needed
